Global Best Practices in International Education
There are some wonderful international education related policy initiatives now in place around the globe. Some of these include the ‘shadow enrolment’ program for refugee students in Europe, ‘Scholars at Risk’ chapters in North America and Europe, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals initiative.
Australia has in recent years begun to focus its attention on our international students’ genuine needs such as employability, safe affordable purpose built accommodation and mental health issues. However, how does Australia compare with the global best practices of other study destination countries in international education?
This session will provide insights into where we are at as a nation in global best practices and where we should aim to be in 2, 5 and 10 years time?
