This session will provide International Student Program (ISP) homestay coordinators insight into how some of our experienced homestay coordinators manage their homestays. This will include how they:

• monitor and communicate with student and homestay families
• best match students with homestay families
• undertake orientations

This 40 minutes session will include short presentations from homestay coordinators, as well as an opportunity to ask colleagues questions.

Biography:

Whitney Smith is the Principal Project Officer, International Student Programs. With 18 years’ experience in the public sector, she has worked across the education, training and health portfolios in roles including Principal Project Officer, Senior Executive Officer and Business Manager.
