This session investigates the logistical considerations and higher level decision making requirements of management-level outdoor professionals in unfolding emergencies. Areas of discussion include: management of mass-casualty incidents, inter-agency co-ordination, organisational review, designating team roles, “blind”scene management, communications and use of technology in austere environments.
