Ragni Mathur has been at the Bar for over 15 years, acquiring extensive experience and specialised knowledge in 3 areas of practice: criminal law, health law, and inquests and inquiries. In the 8 years after her admission as a solicitor advocate, she worked exclusively in criminal law for the Aboriginal Legal Service in both Redfern and the Northern Territory. She has continued to represent disadvantaged members of our community, many of whom suffer from mental illness, addiction and marginalisation.

Ragni appears often as counsel assisting in coronial matters or for an interested party where systemic failures are explored, often in the provision of health services. For over a decade she has appeared in the Occupational Division of the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal in the prosecution of medical practitioners and other health professionals.
