Mark Johnstone has been the Director of Policy and Practice at the Law Society of NSW since 2017. Prior to that, he was the Policy Manager for the Criminal Justice Team of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. He has worked in policy and law reform for 20 years, including in the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet, Ministry of Health, Attorney General’s Department and the Judicial Appointments Commission of England and Wales.
