Marianne Christmann

Principal Registrar, Personal Injury Commission

Marianne Christmann is the Principal Registrar of the Personal Injury Commission. Marianne leads the staff and the Commission’s Registry and operations and supports the President in managing the business and affairs of the Commission.

Marianne led the establishment of the Commission, which commenced operations on 1 March 2021. She was instrumental in shaping the procedures and operations of the new Commission, leading the refurbishment and return of staff and members to the new Commission premises and delivering Pathway, the Commission’s new single digital case management system.

Prior to her time with the Personal Injury Commission, Marianne held senior executive leadership roles with the NSW and Australian governments and in the not for profit and professional services sectors. This included holding senior executive roles in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.
