Katrina Harry is the National Registrar and Chief Legal Counsel of the Veterans’ Review Board, responsible for managing the staff and functions of the Board across Australia. She has over 15 years’ senior leadership experience in tribunals and has successfully delivered strategic projects and operational transformation to establish a culture that improves tribunal performance to meet the aim of resolving disputes fairly, efficiently and quickly.

Katrina has a strong interest in access to justice. She led the development of the Board’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program which radically improved the Board’s resolution rates and time targets and was awarded a Public Service Medal for her work. Most recently, Katrina led the design and implementation of the Board’s Online Dispute Resolution program for which the Board was awarded the Courts and Tribunals ADR Group of the Year in the Australian ADR Awards 2021.

Katrina is the Treasurer for the Council of Australasian Tribunals NSW Chapter, and is a member of the Government Solicitors Committee and the Licensing Committee of the Law Society of NSW. She is an Accredited Specialist in Government and Administrative Law, and is a regular member of the Specialist Accreditation Public Law Advisory Committee.
