Dr Jesse Gale is an ophthalmologist in Wellington, New Zealand.  He was a fellow with Fred Hollows Foundation in 2013, and has subspecialist training in neuro-ophthalmology and glaucoma.  In 2021 he was the founding chair of the RANZCO sustainability committee and has led the development of the policy and position statement, and clinical practice guides on sustainability and climate change.  Jesse has also led a number of projects on sustainable ophthalmology.
