Carly Iles is the Chief Executive Officer of Vision 2020 Australia, the national peak body for eye health and vision care. She leads a broad and diverse membership working together to prevent avoidable vision loss and improve access to eye care and vision support services for all Australians.

With extensive experience in health policy and advocacy, Carly works closely with government, clinicians, researchers and community organisations to drive collaborative, evidence-based reform. She has a strong interest in prevention and early intervention, and in advancing equitable eye health outcomes, particularly for priority populations.

Carly plays a leading role in shaping national eye health policy discussions and is known for her ability to connect sectors, translate complex issues into practical solutions and champion collective action for lasting impact.
