Sarah Quick

Sarah commenced working with the Commissioner for Victims’ Rights in 2008 and was promoted to Assistant Commissioner in 2017. In 2023 Sarah was appointed Commissioner for Victims’ Rights.

Sarah completed a Bachelor of Social Work at the University of South Australia in 2001, a Diploma in Project Management in 2011, a Diploma in Victimology and Victim Assistance, Tokiwa University’s in 2014 and a Diploma of Leadership and Management in 2017.

Before working with the Commissioner, Sarah taught sociology and victimology at the Department of Justice, Technical and Further Education College, South Australia.  She has spoken at local, national and International conferences and seminars on victims’ rights and victim assistance, and published articles on these topics.

Sarah is passionate about working with victims of crime and considers it a privilege to be able to represent victims of crime and promote their rights, needs and interests.
