Erfan DaliriSocial Change Consultant Erfan Daliri is a social change consultant, author and anti-racism educator with a long and diverse career in community development, settlement services, multicultural affairs, Indigenous advocacy, and social cohesion. His experiences include communications for social change, participatory community development, anti-racism thought leadership and systems thinking for social change consulting. Erfan has completed a Master’s Degree in Communication for Social Change from the University of Queensland, has published three books and after 20 years of experience in social impact and for purpose entrepreneurship has become one of Australia’s most highly sought-after social change consultants and speakers. Some of Erfan’s current roles include the CEO of Kind Enterprises, Director of Newkind Social Justice Conference, and Board Member of the Culturally Diverse Alliance of Tasmania. |

Trevor McKennaTrevor is member of Malthouse Chambers in Hobart and Svenson Barristers(List S) in Melbourne. He is:
Prior to the being called to the bar in 2023, Trevor was senior associate at Ogilvie Jennings (Doyle’s Guide Tier 1 family law firm in Tasmania). During his 15 years as a solicitor, he regularly appeared as counsel in courts and tribunals both at first instance and on appeal. Trevor has been consistently recognised by his peers in the Doyles Guide for Tasmania including in 2020 and 2021 (Recommended) and in 2022 and 2023 (Leading). He has a strong track record of dedication to the Legal Profession, and I have held various roles including as an Executive member of the Family Law Section and as President of the Law Society of Tasmania. In each of those roles he was recognised for bringing enthusiasm, focus and commitment necessary to meaningfully contribute to matters affecting the legal profession. During his time as Law Society President, he focused on issues of diversity and inclusion. |

Maria Dimopoulos AMManaging Director, Myriad Kofkin Global Maria Dimopoulos AM is nationally and internationally recognised as an expert specialising in the intersections of diversity, gender equality and the law. Her expert contributions have included knowledge provision and advisory roles in gender justice, advocacy, bridging and supporting participation in mainstream processes. Maria has undertaken extensive sensitive research with a range of diverse communities and organisations and has had research published in a range of professional publications and peer reviewed journals including the Feminist Law Journal, Family and Domestic Violence Clearinghouse, and the Australian Institute of Criminology. In 2008, she was appointed by the Federal government to the National Council to Reduce Violence Against Women and their Children. Maria was also a member of the Access and Equity Inquiry Panel which reported to Government in 2012 on the accessibility of government services to multicultural Australia. Maria’s work has been recognised through numerous awards including being awarded the Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to women, to cultural diversity, and to the prevention of domestic violence 2020, and the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Migration Council of Australia for contributions to Australian multiculturalism and support for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse women 2017. |
